I forgot I ever created this one, three years before I glommed onto what “blogging” actually meant- which is to say it doesn’t mean one post and that’s it for ever ever ever. What I’d done was to write up this report on my old Palm Tungsten C and then uploaded the text to blogger… but blogger/blogspot is, as far as I can tell, for Perez Hilton wannabes and I never stuck around.
Anyway, I must have been a lot smarter in 2004, because this is some very good travel writing. In my humble opinion, as always.
This is an especially neato find since Brian and I have our trip to Singapore and Malaysia coming up in a mere 17 days. It’s been a LOOOOOOOONG wait seeing as we booked these tickets, courtesy of Brian’s aeroplan points, back in January. I just got my Rick Steves Convertible Carry-on, had my first dose of Dukoral yesterday, and am toying with the idea of buying some SG$ and Ringgits this weekend at Calforex downtown, seeing as the markets (including currency markets) don’t like political turmoil and Canada might be stepping on that landmine sooner than any of us hope. Oh, Christ, please, not another federal election…
